About Our Meat CSA
​
Our Meat CSA began in the spring of 2019 with the goal of sharing our high-quality, locally raised meat with the community. Five years later, we’re proud to be full steam ahead, continuously improving our program to meet the needs of our members.
​
The CSA is a collaboration between Cayuga Sunrise Farm and Wideawake Ranch. Together, we raise livestock with care, ensuring they are free from antibiotics, hormones, and GMO grains, though we do not certify them as organic. We offer beef, pork, or a beef-pork combo share, all processed and packaged at a local USDA-inspected facility.

Pick-up location is at our farm, located at 9737 Rt. 96, directly across from Sweet Land Farm. We look forward to sharing our farm-fresh products with you!

First summer share pick up will be Friday, 5/16 all day. For the convenience of everyone we have a designated freezer for our CSA Shareholders, all members shares are placed in the freezer the morning of pick up day and can be picked up throughout the day.
Our Meat CSA offers a convenient and flexible way to enjoy high-quality, locally sourced meat. Shares are distributed once a month for a duration of six months. The Summer session begins in May, while the Winter session starts in November. You can choose to pay monthly upon pickup or pay upfront for the entire session and receive a discount on the total. Pickup days are scheduled for the third Friday of each month. If this date doesn’t fit your schedule, we’re happy to accommodate you with an alternative pickup time after the scheduled date. Enjoy fresh, sustainable meat from your local farm.​

What you may see in your CSA Share:
​
Beef: Ground beef, hamburger patties, a variety of steaks, roasts, kebab meat.
Pork: Ground pork, sausage(breakfast, mild, hot), links, steaks, pork chops, ribs, roasts, bacon.

We try to give your share as much variety as we can throughout the CSA season.
All of our meat is processed and packaged at a local USDA inspected facility.
